Fitness Competitor & Bikini Model Gets Tattoos Removed

7Hw1rhQLWhen we mention tattoo removal, the average person might imagine a twenty-something gangbanger with a teardrop tattoo near his eye or a woman with her abusive ex-boyfriend’s name on her arm. While those scenarios certainly exist, the single most common trait we find among our patients is that they’re attractive young women who made an impulsive decision in their late teens or early twenties because it seemed cool at the time. Now 5 to 10 years older, they look back and wonder, “what in the world was I thinking?”

The case is true for Katie Chung Hua, a fitness competitor and model who recently contacted us about getting a tattoo removed. As you’ll see in the video below, Katie couldn’t be any kinder or sweeter – in other words, she’s not a rough girl who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. She’s simply tired of a couple tattoos she got in her younger years and wants to get rid of them.

The first tattoo she’s removing is one on her index finger that says “Shh.” At the time, she thought it was clever to hold up her finger in the quiet position with the letters “shh” facing out at the other person. It’s one of those tattoos you want to be the only one with, but the problem is, there’s no assurance that you ever will be. In fact, this particular tattoo is pretty popular these days, but back when Katie got it, she was one of the only ones.

The tattoo on her wrist that says “Trust” is also on the chopping block. It’s another one that seemed like a creative idea at the time, but now is so commonplace she’s embarrassed to be part of the herd.

Check out Katie’s video as she opens up about her tattoo removal and then gets her first laser treatment on both tattoos.
